R’ Shneur Boruch relates:
In 5783, I traveled to the tziyun of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok in Almaty. I prayed for success in finding an house in Crown Heights at an affordable price. I had been searching for some time with no success.
After visiting the Ohel, I flew back to the U.S. The moment the plane touched down and my phone reconnected, I received a message from a realtor: he had found me exactly the type of home I had been looking for.
The next year, on the yahrzeit of 5784, I returned to Almaty—to say thank you for the miracle.

Beyond His Means
A man who had previously experienced personal miracles after donating to support the Rebbe’s father’s legacy, received a link to contribute again. He decided to pass it on to his brother-in-law, who was facing a tough financial situation.
That brother-in-law was hoping to enroll his daughter in a local seminary, but the monthly tuition was well beyond his means. Even affluent families found it difficult to cover the cost. He approached another brother-in-law, who was financially secure, but received no response.
Moved by the urgency of the situation, the first brother-in-law decided to donate a significant amount himself—well beyond what he could comfortably afford.
The very next day—less than 24 hours later—his phone rang. It was the wealthy brother-in-law.
“I owe you an apology,” he said. “I should’ve responded sooner. I’ve decided to cover the full tuition for your daughter for an entire year.”
The total? Over $20,000.
Two Weddings
Shterny Friedman witnessed incredible blessings after donating to Chabad of Kazakhstan.
Shortly before the 20th of Menachem Av 5784, she replied to a campaign message posted in her local Chabad women’s WhatsApp group:
“From personal experience—one year I donated and saw an immediate miracle! I then shared what happened and a friend of mine donated too and asked for a bracha for her two children who had been struggling to find their matches. Both of them got engaged and married within that same year!”
Her words didn’t fall on deaf ears. Several women from her community joined the campaign—and became part of the growing number who’ve seen yeshuos.

Retroactive Deletion
R’ Avraham Dovid Roitman shared the following:
“I was in need of a yeshuah in two areas—one financial, one personal. I donated toward activities connected to Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, in the spirit of the Rebbe’s promise that those who donate will receive back up to 500 times as much. Not long after, I witnessed it with my own eyes.
“A massive debt had been levied on me by the tax authorities. Out of nowhere, it was canceled—retroactively—going back several years. Something I never imagined could even happen.
“When I crunched the numbers, I realized that the savings added up to exactly five hundred times the amount I had donated.
“As for the personal matter—there will come a time to share that miracle as well.”
To Build a Home
Eli Feir, a young man from a European country, traveled to Almaty to pray at the tziyun of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, the Rebbe’s father.
He had been searching for a marriage partner for some time, without success. At the tziyun, he poured out his heart, tearfully asking for a blessing to find his match—a plea those holy walls have heard countless times.
Just a few months later, Eli became engaged. They married this past Adar in a joyful celebration.

A Call from the NICU
Mrs. Bracha Torenheim, New York relates:
My baby was in the NICU for a long time due to respiratory complications. He was born early—almost as if he insisted on being born on the Rebbe Rashab’s birthday, the 20th of Cheshvan. His condition required an incubator and feeding was a struggle.
Week after week passed until I finally broke down and called my sister-in-law Yehudis, a shlucha in Kazakhstan. I asked if she could please go and daven at the tziyun of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok.
It was Friday, and despite the time pressure, she went and texted me afterward to say she had davened at the tziyun.
Just hours later, I got a call—from the NICU! Until then, I had been the one constantly calling to ask when he might be released, only to be told, “Every baby progresses differently.” But now, they were calling me.
They said that although he was expected to need at least another week of treatment, we could come immediately and take him home.
One hour before Shabbos, our healthy, sweet baby entered our home. I have no doubt in my mind: it was the power of prayer at the tziyun.

Tried and Proven
This is the powerful story of Yossi Goldstein, who made it his personal practice to visit the tziyun of the Rebbe’s father at least once a year.
His most recent visit was on the 24th of Teves, the yahrzeit of the Alter Rebbe. He joined a farbrengen with other shluchim and Anash who had chosen to come to Almaty that year, instead of Ukraine, due to the war.
Yossi shared his story:
“The landlord of our apartment suddenly decided to sell. As anyone who rents in Israel knows, finding a new place isn’t easy—even if you’re willing to compromise.
“We searched intensely but couldn’t find anything decent within budget. Owners today are picky: they want pay stubs, guarantors, large deposits, you name it.
“But I don’t have pay stubs—I’m a full-time Torah learner. We have six kids, and we live on a single salary, thank G-d. That alone scared many landlords off.
“By the time Tisha B’Av was approaching, we had no choice—we were evicted. Our belongings went into storage, and we moved in with my brother until we could find something.
“Nearly two weeks passed. On Chof Av, Rabbi Levi Yitzchok’s yahrzeit, I received a fundraising email from Chabad of Kazakhstan. I felt I had to give something, even a little. I donated 101 shekels—literally all I could spare—and in the comment field I wrote: ‘For help finding a home—now.’
“That night I went to shul for Shacharis. After davening, a friend came over and asked if I’d called about a new apartment listing he’d seen. I hadn’t even heard of it. He sent me the number.
“When I called, the man on the line asked if I was Chabad. I said yes and asked how he knew. He laughed, ‘Your number has 770 in it. Dead giveaway.’
“I asked if the apartment was still available. He said he was about to sign with someone else that day. I wished him well and figured that was that.
“Later that evening, he called me back. ‘I canceled the signing,’ he said. ‘I need a few more days to think. In the meantime, why don’t you and your wife come see the apartment? I’ll come in from Raanana to meet you.’
“The apartment was beautiful, but I didn’t think it would work—surely he’d ask for the usual: pay stubs, guarantors, deposit.
“To my shock, he didn’t ask for any of it. Instead, he said, ‘My dream is to have a Chabad chossid living in my apartment. I want my home to be blessed.’
“I told him honestly: I could pay rent monthly, by bank transfer, and that’s it. He did his due diligence, made some calls, and came back with a firm answer: Yes. He said it himself—it was a miracle.
“On Rosh Chodesh Elul—just 10 days after the yahrzeit—we signed the lease and moved in. What more is there to say? I gave to the institutions carrying on the Rebbe’s father’s legacy, and I received a clear, open blessing in return. Tried and proven.”

A Hidden Miracle
Mrs. Chaya Israeli shares:
I have a friend who isn’t observant yet. On several occasions, she approached me on her own and gave me money to donate as tzedakah in merit of her daughter, who had been waiting a long time to conceive.
Each time, I chose to donate to Chabad of Kazakhstan, knowing the Rebbe’s promise—and knowing the Rebbe doesn’t leave debts unpaid.
Recently, she told me that her daughter is, thank G-d, expecting and close to giving birth.
This, to me, is the classic case of “A person doesn’t recognize their own miracle.” The mother gave tzedakah not knowing exactly where it went. The daughter may not have even known her mother had donated. And yet—the miracle came, flowing from Rabbi Levi Yitzchok’s tziyun to new Jewish life in this world.

The Call Outside the Tziyun
Shlomo and his wife (full names withheld) had been married for years without children. They weren’t yet religious.
Over time, Shlomo began drawing closer to Torah and mitzvos, eventually enrolling in a yeshiva for baalei teshuvah in Jerusalem.
One day he heard about Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, the Rebbe’s father, and the miracles connected to his resting place. He resolved to make the journey to Almaty with his wife.
Shortly after praying at the Ohel, they were blessed with a baby boy.
While there, they recalled the teaching: “One who prays for another is answered first.” So they also prayed for a family friend whose shidduch process had stalled.
“Suddenly, out of nowhere, the kallah’s side reached out and said they were ready to continue,” the couple said. “We had just stepped out of the tziyun when the call came.”
The couple in question eventually married.
As for Shlomo and his wife—their next prayer is now for more children.

Almost Two Million
Shmaryahu and Yocheved Butman shared the following after two years of participating in the annual fundraising campaign around the 20th of Av:
“In year one, we donated 2,000 shekels, in ten monthly payments of 200. That same year, we received the keys to an apartment in Harish we had bought earlier for 600,000 shekels.
“Soon after, the apartment’s value rose by 300,000.
“We gave again the next year—same amount—and closed on a new apartment for 1.9 million, expecting to finance it by selling the first.
“Within months, the value of the second apartment nearly doubled to 3.5 million. We had effectively gained close to 2 million shekels.
“We donated 4,000 shekels, and the Rebbe’s promise of ‘up to 500-fold’ came true—literally. Multiply our gift by 500, and the number is nearly exact.
“We haven’t missed a year since.”

The Mikvah and the “Secret Formula”
One shliach from a small town shared:
“One year on the yahrzeit of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, I made a resolution to build a mikvah in my city. But things dragged. There were obstacles, delays, and no money. Nothing was moving.
“That year, I donated $200 to the Chabad Kazakhstan campaign. Miraculously, that very year, I received an unexpected donation of $100,000 for the mikvah.
“I still can’t explain how or why that money came to me, specifically, for that project. But it was crystal clear: I gave $200, and received 500 times that amount.
“Honestly, I wasn’t surprised. As a shliach, I feel the Rebbe guiding every step. I just want to let others in on the formula.”

Double Blessing
An older single man traveled to Rabbi Levi Yitzchok’s tziyun to pray for a shidduch. At the very same time, a father was there praying for his daughter to find her match. Neither knew the other.
Days later, someone suggested the two meet—and they hit it off immediately. After writing to the Rebbe, they soon got engaged and married. The groom was so moved that he donated generously to Chabad of Kazakhstan in gratitude.
This man works in sales, earning commissions on each deal. That very same day, shortly after sending in his donation—which, he said, stretched him beyond his means—he received his weekly commission report. It showed a bonus exactly 500 times the amount he had donated.
“I knew it had been a good week,” he said, “but this… this was beyond all expectations.”
The Money Was Released
Mr. and Mrs. Amram shared:
“Three years ago, we set out to buy a home. But there were countless delays and obstacles in securing the funds. We decided to donate to the 20th of Av campaign and connect to the Rebbe’s promise of ‘up to 500-fold.’
“We calculated that to buy a home, we needed $7,700. So we donated exactly that amount. That very year—on the day of the yahrzeit itself—we were told: the money had come through. We could purchase the house.”
