Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE) will be hosting a month-long series of business seminars taught every Wednesday evening at 8 pm by local business experts, beginning Wednesday, July 13th (14th Tammuz).
If you’re an early-stage startup, or even thinking about starting a business, then you do not want to miss these incredible classes! https://www.chye.info/minimba
Each hour and a half-long session is jam packed with the information all new entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs need to know.
True to its name, the purpose of CHYE Mini MBA (Masters in Business Administration) is to give entrepreneurs the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to turn their ideas into real-world, profitable business ventures.
While many business events mainly focus on inspiration or try to sell you products and courses, the CHYE Mini MBA is different.
Catering specifically to our anash community and taught by Lubavitch business executives, the CHYE Mini MBA will give you a 360-degree view of business and management practices. The classes will provide you with the practical ‘know-how’ that will enable you to launch a business from scratch, avoid common mistakes, and develop the skills needed to lead, inspire, and scale successful teams.
Broken up into four parts, ‘Start It, Market It, Manage It, Do It,’ the CHYE Mini MBA series will cover all aspects of launching, promoting, and managing a successful business.
Mini MBA kicks off with ‘Start It,’ a class taught by Moshe Hecht, Co-founder & CEO of HATCH. In this class, you will learn how to create a business plan, make a pitch deck, and how to pitch investors, secure funding, and launch your startup.
Week 2, ‘Market It,’ taught by Joe Apfelbaum, will teach you how to create a marketing plan and the key marketing principles and strategies you will need to successfully promote your startup.
In Week 3, ‘Manage It,’ you’ll learn from Yisroel Swimmer, CEO of TileBar, how to manage, operate, and scale your business, and make it profitable.
Mini MBA will conclude in Week 4 with an executive panel featuring all of the Mini MBA’s expert teachers, including Moshe Hecht, Joe Apfelbaum, and Yoel Swimmer, who will be discussing: ‘How do you actually make it happen?’ This discussion in front of a live audience will be followed by a Q&A in which participants will be able to ask the panel their own business questions.
“This is an exciting opportunity for all the ambitious young people in our community to hear from successful, veteran business leaders and connect with them,” said CHYE founder, Yehoshua Werde. “We hope that the participants will not only learn from the classes, but that they will also gain mentors and forge fruitful partnerships and connections with their fellow Crown Heights entrepreneurs.”
