Rohr Center for Jewish Life-Chabad in Bellingham, Washington, has faithfully been serving Western Washington University and Whatcom county for 8 years, tending to the various and sundry physical and spiritual needs of others.
This week, their building’s furnace has died, and after getting it checked out, they learned that the only real option is to replace it.
The cost of replacing the furnace is $13,000.
“We are in the dead of winter, and we really need to get the heat back on to warm the dozens of children, WWU students, and adults who make use of our center every week. Please help if you can!” asks Shliach Rabbi Avremi Yarmush.
Chabad of Bellingham services the Jewish community of Bellingham WA, students at Western Washington University, as well as the greater Whatcom County.
