April 26, 2022 7:07 pm
I asked the rebbe in a letter if i had to keep cholev yisroel. The rebbe answered
דאיסור מטמטם את המוח ואת הלב. (The forbidden thing stuffs up the mind and the heart).
I asked rabbi hodakov the rebbe secretary at that time if chalov akum is the forbidden thing and he said it was
he wrote it correctly. He asked the Rebbe if he had to keep Chalav Yisroel not if he should keep chalav stam.

There are jews who rely on r Moishe Feinstein who permitted “chalav hacompanies”.
Although we would never touch that (and even kosher dishes that cooked such milk) one can’t issue a blanket statement forbidding if just like ymstam yeinom

Some non chabad chasidim would deliberately buy bread from a non Jewish bakery after pesach to avoid questions of chametz a jew had over pesach. And r Nissan nemenow (!) Would buy bread from a non Jewish bakery where they would light fire so it should be… Read more »
