the kosher food will be just fine without kosherfest. sounds like he wants to keep it open to make some money! im not sure why he needs to take the chance

First of all, who are you to decide that the industry “will be just fine” without it? Are you in the industry at all?

Second, is anyone being forced to come? He can open it, and those who are concerned about COVID simply won’t come.

Either they are allowed open or not. If yes then he can do as he pleases! If not, then no.

I’m sorry, I know very much how badly we need to try to keep working, I have been affected terribly by being in travel and entertainment industry. I went to Kosherfest for the last few years, I love it and even when there were complaints last year I defended them and flew to go there. But this is really very unsafe. It’s 1000’s of people in one giant room, standing face to face talking about food, which is being prepared and eaten and shared there. Also many, many people come from out of town.
