As I sit in my armored personal carrier, my heart aches with worry for my family.
Over 300,000 Israeli men, just like me, have hugged their families goodbye. They come from every walk of life, diverse in occupation and background. Many, in ordinary times, struggle to make ends meet and provide for their loved ones. Now, as the specter of war looms, they have no choice but to answer the call of their reserve units, standing shoulder to shoulder to protect their fellow citizens against the relentless onslaught of Hamas terrorists who threaten our land.
Chamah is working directly with members of Pelugat Yonatan (Yonatan’s Brigade) in חטיבת הנגב and חטיבת גולני, all of whom are reservists who called up to serve and left their families, wives, and children without means of support while they fight and risk their lives. Chamah will provide each of these families with direct support in the form of crucial aid.
Their bravery inspires us, their sacrifices resonate deeply. In this crucial moment, they’ve reached out to us, asking for help in providing for their families while they fulfill their duty on the frontlines.
We, in turn, stand resolute in our mission. We’re providing meals, care packages, and unwavering support to these families who have suddenly found themselves alone.
