As Three Bows, the popular clothing store known for its fashionable skirts and affordable Tznius clothing, prepares to reopen its doors, they are making a positive impact amidst the ongoing events in Israel. Chiena Avtzon, the owner and founder of Three Bows, shared details about their initiative with COLlive.com.
Originally hailing from Hong Kong, Chiena now resides in Crown Heights and is eager to contribute to the community. Part of reopening their store involved plans to bring their warehouse closer to Crown Heights to better serve their customers. They had planned a massive moving sale prior to the move, and then war in Israel broke out.
“It was such a mix of feelings,” Chiena says. “Here we are getting ready for exciting things, moving warehouses, re-opening our store, a massive sale, all while so many of our brethren are worried about their mere survival. So we decided to change things up a little bit and donate items, being that moving is always a good time to donate stuff that you have.”
The decision to run their sale for a cause reflects the store’s commitment to Israel and standing with the people of Israel. By encouraging shoppers through discounted items, Three Bows aims to not only clear out their inventory but also support children in Israel who have been affected by the recent conflicts.
“You can’t imagine how many requests we have been getting from organizations that distribute clothing in Eretz Yisroel.” Chiena shares, “In a time where you wonder “what can I do to help?” these phone calls gave us at Three Bows our answer.”
“We really, really hope that this will encourage people to shop. We discounted a lot of items so that it’s win-win. They get the shop, we get to donate, and it’s a great way to have them partner with us to get clothing to kids in Israel who have been affected by the war,” Chiena emphasized.
With their move to a new warehouse, Three Bows hopes to reinforce their connection with the Crown Heights community. By bringing their operations closer to their customer base, the store aims to provide more convenience while maintaining their commitment to quality and affordability.
The store’s reputation precedes them, particularly within Chabad Circles. The popularity of their skirts and Tznius clothing is an important part of their success. Three Bows has undoubtedly become a recognizable name among fashion enthusiasts in Crown Heights and beyond.
As the community eagerly awaits the reopening of Three Bows, their philanthropic efforts serve as a remarkable testament to the power of compassion and solidarity. By shopping at Three Bows, customers not only enjoy stylish and affordable clothing but also actively participate in supporting a noble cause.
As Three Bows prepares to embark on this new chapter with a new warehouse location, Crown Heights can anticipate not only fresh fashion finds but also a community-driven force that truly cares.
