The Florida State Attorney’s Office has released two photos of the suspect as evidence in the murder case of a South Florida rabbi.
The photos are of 15-year-old Deandre Charles who has been charged with the murder of Rabbi Yosef Raksin.
One of the photos show Charles holding a gun, and law enforcement is currently investigating to see if that was the gun used to kill Raksin.
The photos have been released in a process known as ‘discovery’ where the prosecution turns over all evidence that they have to the defense.
This evidence is crucial for the prosecution and may be used against Charles to argue that he poses a danger and should not be granted bond.
Raksin was murdered on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 when he was visiting family in Miami. He was walking to a synagogue around 7:30 a.m. when prosecutors said, Charles and a group of other teens approached Raksin and tried to rob him.
Raksin did not have any money with him at the time and prosecutors said, he was shot one time in the chest.
The full discovery in the case will be available to Charles’ defense team, Wednesday morning.

Rehab is for people that DESERVE rehab. A depressed individual who turned to drugs deserves another chance, and so we as a society offer that person rehab.
A murderer does NOT deserve rehab, regardless of the circumstances. The only thing he deserves is to LOSE his freedom for the rest of his life.
And yes, society should PAY to have these individuals collectively placed in prison to rot, unless you prefer the death penalty, which is my first choice.

It’s sad that this is what a 15 year old is up to with his whole life in front of him. He landed up with the wrong gang.
Although some of you might not agree, I think he needs to be in rehab and then become a functional part of society instead of sitting in jail for the next 65 years. (and never mind, what it costs to keep him in prison).

The picture shown of this ‘person’, his demeanor and obvious sense of entitlement is the reason that ‘black lives matter’ will never take hold. Until black people get their own under control no one will take them seriously. Killing people with no regard for human life puts them in the same place as sick animals and such people cannot be among those in society who value life.
