Rabbi Aharon Yaakov Schwei, senior rov and member of the Crown Heights Beis Din (Badatz CHK), is in urgent need for the public’s prayers in the merit of his speedy recovery.
Rabbi Schwei was elected to his position as a rov for the community in 2003, having served for many years as a Maggid Shiur in the Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim in Crown Heights.
“I have been told that he was sedated after a heart attack in the hospital, but that he is now improved and not unconscious,” a source close to Rabbi Schwei told COLlive.com.
This is the second time Rabbi Schwei was in the hospital in the last month or so. After the previous hospitalization, he quickly returned to his rabbinical duties and was already seen officiating weddings at 770 Eastern Parkway.
