Mrs. Shoshana Nemoy, recently of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Monday night, 2 Mar Cheshvan, 5781.
She was 79 and passed away after a long illness.
She had previously lived in New Haven, Crown Heights and Seattle, where she was known as a gracious hostess, storyteller and friend.
A child of the holocaust and a survivor herself, she would often quote her mother, “If you didn’t laugh today, you didn’t live today.”
She is survived by her children Michoel in Israel, Yehoshua and Menucha in Florida as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.

I would visit her in the rehab center in Pittsburgh. She was always so so cheerful and positive. Even while she was going through a lot of pain and health difficulties, she always greeted us warmly. We all knew to have a Dvar Torah ready because she would ask us to share one with her. She would sometimes share with us something inspiring she read or heard. A truly remarkable woman!
Dear Michoel , Yehoshua and Menucha .
May Hashem comfort you at this time of great loss, amongst the mourners of Tziyon and Yerushalayim.
Rabbi Yeheskel and Pearl Lebovic, Maplewood NJ
