After a few years of teaching and working with students, Behind the Seams with Zeldy Schwei is opening its new location on Lamont Ct in Crown Heights.
The studio offers three main services: sewing classes, custom embroidery, and alterations.
In sewing classes, students learn hands-on skills in a supportive environment. Younger students create projects like tote bags and pencil cases, while teens and adults can focus on alterations or their own custom projects.
To celebrate the new location, a grand opening event will be held this Sunday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Guests of all ages, including kids, teens, and adults, are invited to stop by, try out the machines, see the space, and get a feel for what the studio offers. There will be refreshments, a spin-the-wheel with discounts and freebies, and a free gift for the first 20 attendees.
