There are many times that relatives can’t be found and the local rabbi or hebrew free burial assoc. ends up burying. Why can’t that be done this time? The fact that he is a Jew and was a member of the Chabad House indicates that a Jewish burial is in order. Surely someone can cut through the red tape if no relatives can be found? May H-shem speedily put his neshama to rest.

There are Leibowitz’s in staten island- don’t know if that helps.
Maybe they are relatives of the mother.

BH Chessed Shel Emes helped out and they released his body and he will have a levaya tomorrow morning. They will be passing by Chabad of the West Side at 9am and continuing on to Lincoln, NY.

If you have any leads, please don’t be shy and send them to Chabad of the West Side.
