The Russian Junior N’shei Chabad celebrated 24 years of dedication and hard work in spreading the light of Chassidus.
The 24th Annual Farbrengen took place on 26 of Teves at Oholei Torah Ballroom. It was dedicated to the 19th yartzeit of Rebbetzin Sora Levin bas Horav Reb Moshe Chaim.
This beautiful event was organized by Nurit Sarytchev and Chana Komarovsky. The aim of the gathering was to strengthen the Jewish women in Torah, Avoda and Gmilus Chasodim. The three pillars that the world stands on! By strengthening ourselves in these areas we automatically gain protection for Ererz Yisroel and bring safety to the entire Jewish nation. As you entered the lobby, three beautiful tents depicted these pillars. They were strong and mighty, holding the World Globe that hovered above them. In these tents, women had a chance to acquire seforim with Russian translations for half of original price.
More than 250 ladies, from all over New York City as well as other states, participated in this event.
Inspiring Divrei Torah were said by Nurit Sarytchev, Leah Levin, Malky Shkolnik, Rivkah Sidorov, Shayna Roth and the guest-speaker, the very talented Sara-Ester Crispe.
Women took upon themselves to increase in learning Torah, Davening and giving Tzedoka. A beautiful piece of jewelry was raffled off amongst those who committed themselves in any of those areas. The Oholei Torah Hall was transformed into spiritual and physical heaven. Chana Komarovsky dazzled everyone with a beautiful decor of the hall. Every detail was thought through and actualized.
A beautiful and soulful performances by Katya Kopelnikov from Chicago and by Miriam Ilyayev and her dancing crew lifted everyone to the next level of simcha. Exquisite cuisine by Turk Caterers and vibrant music by Fitche Benshimon created an unforgettable atmosphere of the Chassidishe Farbrengen. Chinese Auction prizes added to the excitement of this event. It was an evening of phenomenal inspiration, excitement and joy in the ways of Torah and Chassidus.
