We come to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support during a challenging time for the Friedman family.
Tragically, Gershon Yechiel Friedman obm, a beloved father of seven beautiful children from Los Angeles, has shockingly passed away from complications of meningitis.
Five years ago, The Friedman family extended their hearts further by adopting a child, who will now grow up without the physical presence of his loving father. The expenses that come with raising a large family have become overwhelming. While the immediate grieving time is financially challenging, the long term financial stability of the family without their father is a bigger challenge that the family now faces.
As a widow and single mother, Mrs. Chaviva Friedman has a long-term goal of moving closer to a Chabad shul so that their youngest child may grow up involved in his community. At this time the family’s home is not within walking distance of a Chabad shul and without a father, community involvement will be especially important for the family.
We understand the power of community and how, together, we can make a significant impact. Your generosity can provide immediate relief to cover essential expenses, ensure the well-being of their children, and ease the financial burden that the family is facing during this difficult time.
Every donation, no matter the size, contributes to creating a brighter future for the Friedman family. Let’s join hands, uplift one another, and show the strength of our community in times of need.
