Russian Junior N’Shei Chabad of Crown Heights
Dedicated to the 17th yartzeit of Rebbetzin Sora Levin bas Horav Reb Moshe Chaim
On Sunday, 29 Teves, Rosh Chodesh Shvat 5782, year of the revealed miracles everywhere in our lives, despite all the double darkness in the world right before Moshiach’s coming, Russian Junior N’Shei Chabad of Crown Heights held its 22 Annual Farbrengen in person, thanks to the Rebbe’s brochos, to inspire and to encourage the women to bring Moshiach and to end this Golus immediately!
Truly miraculously, a lot of women showed up from Crown Heights, Flatbush, Boro Park, Monticello, Brighton Beach, Staten Island, Philadelphia and from all over New York even though many got sick last moment. This year as well people were able to watch the Farbrengen Live due to the current situation.
Be bold as a leopard
Light as an eagle
Swift as a deer
Strong as a lion … in performing the will of Hashem.
Russian N’shei Chabad have demonstrated all of these qualities at this beautiful Annual Farbrengen. When women entered the Oholei Torah they found themselves in the beautiful jungle with leopard, eagle, deer and lion. We need to learn from animals how to keep our Jewish Frum world from the wild influences of our surroundings and withstand all the obstacles that we face now in this world. Once again Oholei Torah hall have been transformed into a gorgeous dwelling place for Hashem! It looked amazing in golden pink with the grapes outside the tent and special drinks.
There was an expression of the woman’s beauty and touch in every detail from the shape and color of the centerpieces with flowers and candles to napkin rings looking like spring flowers and the setting of fish and meat dishes and soup looking like Shabbos exquisite meal. The Rebbe explains that each letter of the Rebbetzin’s name, Chana, stands for one of the three special mitzvos gifted and entrusted to women. Challah, family purity & Shabbos/Yom Tov candle lighting. Regal & Peaceful “Sarah’s tent”, which was set up in the middle of the Ballroom, portrayed these 3 special mitzvos! The hall was filled with beautiful lights and décor as if it was welcoming the guests to take these 3 mitzvos to a new level.
The words of Chassidus, Halocha, Rambam, Hayom Yom and laws of Family Purity were pouring in abundance reviving and energizing the minds and souls of the participants. The light of Torah, combined with the physical beauty, with the exquisite catering, incredibly sweet music, many mystery presents and simply, with the pleasure of socializing with friends, was able to penetrate deep inside and even to be expressed into the action, in taking the hachlotas to learn more Chassidus and to give more Tzedoka. Also an important highlight of the event was the fourth Mitzvah that also hinted in the name “Chana’- “HaChein”-to learn Chassidus.
Those who took upon themselves hachlotos were able to participate in a raffle for the very expensive gifts.
The evening also had an awesome Game “The Treasures at the Red sea” The questions for the game were based on the divrei Torah that were shared earlier. All the women were able to participate and everyone loved it. The Game brought much excitement and better understanding of all that was discussed earlier. The dancing and Chinese Auction were at the end.
The success of this Farbrengen is the result of the Rebbe’s brochos that bring hatzlocha in all the activities of RJNC. This year the Rebbe promised through Yigeres Kodesh to send “a pruta from the Rebbe” as a sign of His support to this holy cause, and the Rebbe’s dollar miraculously appeared just a day before Farbrengen!!!!
