A rare $100 bill given by the Rebbe will be gifted to the donor of a new Mikvah in Kfar Chabad, Israel.
After two years of planning, the construction is about to begin on the highly anticipated, brand new luxurious and state-of-the-art Mikvah in Kfar Chabad, Israel.
“We are remodeling and building a new mikvah to serve thousands of the women of Kfar Chabad and the surrounding area,” Said Mrs. Sari Gratzman and Mrs. Sima Madanchik from the Mikveh committee.
. “The Rebbe wanted the women’s Mikvaos to be the most beautiful – b’Ruchnius and b’Gashmius.”
To that end, a rare, precious $100 bill given by the Rebbe to the Vaad of Kfar Chabad will be given to help build a Mikvah. The Rebbe gave the $100 bill to the Rav of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Nachum Trebnik Z”l in a Yechidus.
The committee is seeking donations of $100,000 needed to complete the Mikvah and will gift the $100 bill to the generous donor.
One of the Mikvah’s projects is the ‘brides Mikveh’ a new section of the Mikvah is dedicated for brides before their wedding. This part of the Mikvah will also serve as a center of learning about the deep spirituality and beauty Judaism and Taharas Hamishpacha brings to a marriage.
Many of the residents of Kfar Chabad have already donated generously to the building, as well as donors from New York, notably, R’ Dudi Farkash of Monsey, NY, who donated the bor of the Mikvah in memory of his sister, obm who tragically passed away, in memory of her loving kindness to all.
