For many Chabad house community members, Crown Heights is a place they’ve only heard about in stories. Shabbat in the Heights turns those stories into a lived reality. Shluchim are gearing up to bring groups to experience the neighborhood not as tourists, but as guests of the community. From the energy of 770 and inspirational davening at the Ohel, to the warmth of a local family’s Shabbos table, the weekend provides the perfect environment for guests to see the Rebbe’s vision in action.
Headlining the weekend’s shiurim and inspiration is Rabbi Yitzchak Schochet, the world-renowned speaker and Rabbi of Mill Hill Synagogue in London. Rabbi Schochet will guide participants through Chassidus and Jewish thought, bringing clarity and depth to today’s challenges.
Aaron and Amanda Spiro will share their powerful story of Bitachon. Amanda, who has spoken to groups worldwide, will discuss her journey from serious health challenges to a vibrant Chassidic life—a testament to emunah that resonates with anyone searching for meaning.
Joining the lineup is Rabbi Raleigh Resnick, director and spiritual leader of the Chabad Jewish Center of the Tri Valley, where he also serves as a mentor and life coach. Known for his motivational and dynamic speeches, Rabbi Resnick will enhance the Shabbos experience with his characteristic, charismatic style.
The weekend will also feature presentations, panels, and farbrengens from Rabbi Chaim Hanoka (Chairman), Rabbi Mordechai Dinerman, Rabbi Levi Dubov, Mrs. Shaindy Jacobson, Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Rabbi Yanky Majeski, Mrs. Molly Resnick, Rabbi Naftali Silberberg, Rabbi Shmuel Super, and Rabbi Eliezer Zalmanov.
Participants will also enjoy gourmet meals, late-night farbrengens filled with niggunim and stories, and guided neighborhood tours including the Rebbe’s library.
