Crown Heights lecturer Rabbi Yossi Paltiel spent Shabbos with Chabad of the Valley as their scholar in residence in honor of Yud Tes/Chof Kislev.
The weekend began with an elegant Friday night dinner at Chabad of Encino attended by more than 100 people, at which Rabbi Paltiel delivered the keynote address.
Shabbos afternoon featured a sit-down Kiddush luncheon followed by a farbrengen. Rabbi Paltiel’s words were well received by the large crowd that remained throughout the day.
The culmination of the Shabbaton was a sumptuous Melaveh Malka held at Chabad of the Valley’s headquarters in Tarzana on Motzei Shabbos. After brief remarks from Rabbi Yehoshua Gordon and Rabbi Mordechai Einbinder, Rabbi Paltiel addressed the crowd of several hundred, sharing words of wisdom and inspiration about the Torah’s advice on marriage and relationships.
He is so amazing in every sense of the way!! The Knowledge that he brings down onto the level of the simple is so much appreciated! The deepest things are so interesting because he knows how to teach it that way! What a passionate and exciting teacher!!
Your Peulos are B”H getting bigger and bigger, but you are KN”H getting younger and younger…an old freind from Brunoy
He is amazing! Completely immersed in knowledge across disciplines. Shluchim who have communities that appreciate mental stimulation would do good to bring him down, he is intellectually challenging and thoroughly engaging.
Yosher Koach Rabbi Paltiel. I’m a big fan.
