Close to 200 people gathered to celebrate their Massachusetts Rabbi Moshe Bleich‘s upcoming 40th birthday along with the beginning of a new Sefer Torah.
The elegant event for the Shliach who directs the Wellesley Weston Chabad Center along with his wife, Geni, was also a kick off for a major matching-funds fundraiser.
The Wellesley Weston Chabad has secured a donor who has agreed to match contributions made to the WWC up to $65,000 with the complete total of $130,000 until Shabbos.
“Please help us raise funds by contributing,” Rabbi Bleich asked. “Every dollar you contribute will count as two. Effortlessly convert $100 into $200, $1000 into $2000.”
The Wellesley Weston Chabad provides invaluable services to the local Jewish community. “We are a small shul in a large metropolitan community and are continuously striving to increase the presence of Chabad, but we need your help,” he told supporters.
Aside from the typical religious services, Rabbi Moshe and Geni Bleich joined together to form a warm and inviting Chabad House where they each utilize their own exceptional skills to spread not only Jewish observance but Jewish culture throughout the community.
He said fundraising is a crucial role in supporting their continuing efforts, and this is an opportunity to double your donation to continue their great strives.
