The first Yartzeit of Rosh Yeshiva R’ Zalman Wilschanski obm was marked with an event in Morristown, NJ and the completion of a new Torah in Crown Heights.
Friends and family were joined by the Morristown community for the event on Sunday evening at the Berger Auditorium in Morristown, NJ.
R’ Wilschanski was Rosh Yeshiva in Tomchei Tmimim in Morristown, and the Mara D’Asra and Rov of Congregation Levi Yitzchok.
The new Torah was completed on Monday in Crown Heights. It will be welcomed to the Chabad Center of Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday.
