Mrs. Rochel Samuels, longtime resident of Crown Heights, passed away Sunday, Zos Chanuka, 5777.
Mrs. Samuels was born in Brisk, Poland, and emigrated as a young child to Hamilton, Ontario, where her parents were, for many years, the only frum family.

Mrs. Samuels was an amazing lady – a real lady, elegant & always immaculate, but extremely friendly and warm, always interested in others and very kind. What a loss, my condolences to her family.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Samuels and missed seeing her in recent years. She raised good children and we are very fortunate to have Rabbi Shmuel Samuels in our midst in Crown Heights.
