Sunday morning a crowd of hundred people came out to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of the students of the Hillel Cheder Club in Milwaukee. Students of the Hillel Cheder have collectively memorized over 1,000 lines of Tanya, a foundational text of Chassidic philosophy.
Intended for the children of local Anash and Shluchim families, to supplement the excellent ongoing Hillel Academy education, the Sunday program offers chassidus, teachings about the Rabbeim, and chassidic holidays and traditions.
The Hillel Cheder Club meets every Sunday and is taught by a team of dedicated Shluchim and Shluchos from across Wisconsin. The Cheder incorporates the Chayolei Tzivos Hashem program and its exciting curriculum.
The end of the year celebration saluted the ‘chayolim’ who went up in rank, the students who learned Tanya, and awarded them with prizes for their achievements.
