With deep sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Dr. Reuven Avrohom Cyrulnik of Long Beach, CA who passed away after a lengthy illness.
He was 73.
A neurologist, Dr. Cyrulnik was one of the pillars of the Long Beach Chabad community. He was a devoted Chossid of the Rebbe who lived each day for the fulfillment of Torah and Mitzvos. He was a beloved husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Gila Cyrulnik, and children Mrs. Channi Lieberman – Crown Heights, R’ Asher Cyrulnik – Jerusalem, Mrs. Rivkah Shayndel Cunin – Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Estee Butman – Armonk, NY, R’ Moshe Cyrulnik – Melbourne, Australia, Mrs. Yocheved Boyarsky – Ottawa, Canada, R’ Simcha Aharon Cyrulnik – Ashdod, Israel, Zalmy Cyrulnik – Long Beach, CA; and grandchildren.
The Levaya will begin at Congregation Lubavitch 3981 Atlantic Ave. Long Beach at 9:30 AM on Sunday and will pass by 770 Eastern Pkwy on Monday at 11 AM, continuing on to Old Montefiore Cemetery.
The family will be sitting shiva at 684 Crown Street through 10 AM on Tuesday morning and from Tuesday evening at 639 Marshall Place, Long Beach, CA.
