The annual Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration which takes place in the streets of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, will take place bigger than ever this year.
Organized under the auspices of longtime organizer Rabbi Yisroel Shemtov, who has been arranging and funding the annual celebration for nearly 40 years, the nightly celebration during Chol Hamoed Sukkos features the biggest stars in Jewish music and draws tens of thousands of Jews of all walks of life to Crown Heights.
This year, the events are being organized by a group of Crown Heights activists, who are planning the biggest and best celebration in years.
Entertainment this year will include singing stars Eli Marcus, Shlomo Simcha, Uncle Moshe and musicians Avremi G, Chony Milecki, Fitche Benshimon, KumTantz Band, Yossi Cohen, Yehuda Piamenta and Mendy Piamenta, and The Kapelye Choir.
The event will be streamed live nightly on COLlive.com, a proud corporate sponsor of the event.
A special Simchas Beis Hashoeva will take place for children on 2 nights of Chol Hamoed Sukkos in Crown Heights.
Thursday and Sunday nights of Chol Hamoed, all children are invited to join on Kingston Avenue for their very own dancing to live music, with Fitche Benshimon and Shlomo Simcha on Thursday and Uncle Moishy on Sunday.
