Keeping a summer tradition in France, the rabbis and bochurim of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Brunoy have relocated to continue their learning in a resort village near the mountains of the Alps. Photos

A big Yishar Koach to Rabbi Mendy Gurewitz and Rabbi Shimon Lasry for making this possible. They are smart people who understand the need of the new generation. This is a major boost for the Yeshiva and I hope many more Talmidim will start to understand that Bruony has changed and its the place to a Bachur wants to be serious and Penimi. we can now find the best Chinuch for our kids in Brunoy coupled with activities like this one. Also, Kudos to Reb Yitshe Nemanow a true Beinoni like his father Reb Nisan Zata. I am sure that… Read more »
Is this the same place they went to a couple years ago?
its too bad i only stayed in brunoy for 3 years and my last year was 5759!!! i hated those long summers in brunoy! i agree, all yeshivos should be doing this instead of kids going to camp! that picture of the bochurim learning with the mountain scenery is amazing!
shteigin away while hittin up those wheels
biking looks good on u, enjoy 🙂 🙂 🙂
D
youre the best alvai it should be a lot of bochurim like him
correct! correct!
every yeshiva should be 11 months – it was not soooo long ago that Oholei Torah here was also an 11 month program with one month in the mountains.
Go Jj duchman. A solid all around bochur !
This concept was introduced in Brunoy in 5760, when only Yeshiva Ktana was in session during the summer, and has continued in the era when Yeshiva Gedola/Zal started going through the summer. I’m not sure why you missed out on this amazing program, but Brunoy is still the best, most authentic Yeshiva out there (some of the craziness and meshichisim influences notwithstanding)
If only every yeshiva in lubavitch would be for 11 months (with tishrey and Nissan off..) and for the summer they would do some recreational things. I think we would look very different…
Look at these boys. Do they not look like they are having a great time?
Yet they are in yeshiva, learning moat of the day still…
Halevay
This truly looks amazing to the point that I am envious. Is there an age limit to this program? Respect! to the Authority of this great Yeshivah! May Hashem be abundant with his Blessings.
all over the place!!!!!
it looks great i wish we had this when i was in brunoy.
p.s. not to long ago less then 10 yrs ago
