The JLI Land & Spirit Israel trip has been the highlight of the year for so many communities for nearly two decades. An oasis of spiritual energy, the program has transformed relationships between Shluchim and their community members. The program has helped participants return home reinvigorated in their Jewish identity and commitment.
Now, for the first time, this unique opportunity is being offered to Shluchos as well. For seven days this October, Shluchos from across the globe will lead their women on a once-in-a-lifetime traverse of our nation’s eternal homeland, with the Land & Spirit Women’s Trip 2026.
“This first-ever exclusively women’s Land & Spirit trip to Israel was created with your women in mind. The ones you teach, uplift, and carry in your heart,” says Mrs. Shaindy Jacobson, Program Director of Women’s Land & Spirit. “This is a trip that will not only show participants our Holy Land; it will help the women meet themselves, rooted, awakened, and forever changed by the soul of Eretz Yisrael.”
Building on over sixteen years of experience, the JLI Land & Spirit team is sparing no resource in designing an experience that is as spiritually uplifting as it is physically luxurious, with five-star accommodations, gourmet meals, and an inspiration-packed itinerary.
The Land & Spirit team is being guided by a dedicated Shlucha-led committee of Mrs. Dinie Ciment, Boynton Beach, FL; Mrs. Chana Kaplan, Potomac, MD; Mrs. Chaya Rochel Lieberman, West Hempstead, NY; Mrs. Esti Paltiel, Port Washington, NY; Mrs. Leah Rosenfeld, Lake Worth, FL; and Mrs. Sara Steinmetz, Sarasota, FL.
Based at the beautiful David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem, participants will visit our people’s holiest sites, such as Kever Rochel, Me’aras Hamachpelah, and the Kosel, and trace Jewish history across the land in places like the City of David, Tel Shiloh, and Caesarea.
The journey will also honor those affected by the current reality. Participants will visit Sderot and the Nova Festival site to bear witness to the events of October 7th, hear the personal stories of those who lived through the attack, and meet IDF soldiers defending our people today.
This journey is more than just a tour; it’s an invitation for women to learn about themselves. Led by Shluchos who know their participants intimately, each step of the way will touch the pintele yid with the warmth of Chassidus for generations to come.
Additionally, JLI is developing a learning program focused on the centrality of Eretz Yisrael and its relevance to Jewish women to complement and enhance the trip to Israel.
“This Women’s Land & Spirit journey brings heaven down to earth, nourishing body, mind, soul, and spirit,” said Mrs. Jacobson, summing up the trip’s impact. “This is one of those rare opportunities where the impact will not end when the plane lands—it will have only just begun.”
The Land & Spirit Women’s Trip will take place on October 19-25, 2026.
Shluchos are encouraged to contact JLI’s dedicated Shlucha liaison, Sara Krasnanski, for details, registration, or any questions at: [email protected].

Wow! This is so exciting!
As a Shlucha who has been on the Land and Spirit trip before many times, having a trip just for women is such an amazing thing!
Kol Hakavod!
This is really special. A women only trip to Eretz Yisrael led by shluchos feels so meaningful especially now. Such a powerful way to connect reflect and come home inspired.
