Not to mention the deterrence factor to all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC!

If 22 just won’t do, and after 45 he’s still alive, 223 might stop his spree, but 308 should set him straight.
Every Jew a 22. If not a 22 then a 38 will do. What about the hurricane though ?
Yes, I paraphrased Boston. He’s a good man, with a good cause!
Absolutely worth $20 (my life that is).
Stimulating discussion here in COL. I’m sure the event will be even more fascinating. I live thousands of miles from CH. Please please make it available to us “out of towners”. Even if it’s not live. Shkoich
Are you actually quoting Boston T. Party?
That man is genius, and everyone caring about their personal safety and think it’s worth 20 bucks should buy his book, otherwise they are probably right and their safety isn’t worth 20 bucks.
No need for a seminar: Is it safe to own a gun? No different than bathing your children, driving a car or being allergic to peanuts. Never confuse outrage with Safety. What does Judaism say about firearm ownership? There a sicha where the Rebbe quotes the shulchan aruch (hilchos shabbos!) which holds that if yiddin are under attack they SHOULD go out with every weapon at their disposable and ward off any attackers. If this is true on Shabbos, mah kol shekein! Is there a constitutional right to own a gun? Absolutely yes. Anyone who refutes this is a threat… Read more »
Learning to shoot is really not that hard. I keep it in a safe (cost me $200 on amazon) that opens quickly with my finger print, or on me.
The Rebbe Rayatz (to #14)was just a holy as Yosef Hatzadik and carried a revolver in russia, and writes so publicly.
We know that any story, specially one that was publicized is a lesson for us to act.
Would you rather call the NYPD so they can come a few minutes later and write a report about how you were… or would you rather safely own and keep a gun…?
Is anyone speaking a Lubavitcher? Are they going to mention Lubavitch views on this issue? Is the Rabbi speaking qualified to give a psak din to our community about owning guns?
Hashem makes Yiddin safer. That’s why he created guns!
wow very well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let’s learn from Yaakov Avinu, who was such a great sniper that he could take out 3 people with one arrow.
In that case Israel shouldn’t be armed…. You have to make a vessel which means of course working betevah ….
Repeat after me:
Guns don’t make Yiddin safer, Hashem makes Yiddin safer.
Guns don’t make Yiddin safer, Hashem makes Yiddin safer.
Guns don’t make Yiddin safer, Hashem makes Yiddin safer.
Do you have any idea how dangerous bathing your kids can be?? 3 times more kids die a year in baths then from guns. Point is everything can be dangerous to te untrained. However with training you and your family will forever be safer. And you can get a legal gun in NYC
how about a class on idiot control
Everyone please make it your biz to attend B”H this event has no inter community politics attached to it and its a great opportunity for people to show that they care about Crown Heights
to number one !Rabbi M P direccts the waterfront in cape town ….??????
Looking forward to attending.
I have a conceal carry permit and am often armed. This would be of great interest to me.
can someone tape this seminar and make it available on COL?
Nothing else is as important as safety. Guns in the hands of the untrained or not very thouroughly trained is quite dangerous. They are not toys… Not sure how applicable this topic is to NYC anyway though.
http://www.gunrabbi.com every Jew a 22
is that hadar hatorah or a resident?
