A Lubavitch resident of Crown Heights was dismayed on Wednesday morning to come upon antisemitic graffiti in the Kingston Avenue Subway station in Crown Heights.
The hateful wording was scrawled on a pole in the train station which is located in front of Chabad Headquarters on Eastern Parkway and is regularly used by Jewish residents of the neighborhood.
The Lubavitcher said he was not able to pursue the matter with the police since he was in a hurry to get to work.
A source in the NYPD told COLlive.com that a police report has been filed and the NYPD has deemed it a bias incident. It has been referred to the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force for further investigation.
