Chassidim, bochurim and guests attended a special meeting in preparation for Yud Shevat, the day the Rebbe accepted the leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch 70 years ago.
The meeting took place at 9:00 pm in the main shul of 770 Eastern Parkway.

I remember as a young bochur in the year 5750, when we marked 40 years of the Rebbe’s Nesius, our Hachonos didn’t just start a month or two before… Several months before Yud Shevat, each and every one of us thought of the best way they can prepare & give a מתנה to the Rebbe for this Yom Habohir. So yes, end of Tishrei ain’t too early – about time for all of us to get involved!!
