but do not forget that Jewish families run non stop laundry, have bigger refrigerators or extra freezers and bath little kids at least ones a day, babies need more heat them adults and running hot water on all cooking and dishes.

there are ways to reduce energy uses in large family households as well. combine laundry loads, hang dry certain quick dry items, arrange your fridge and freezer so that all walls are not blocked so cooling is done most efficiently, not all “little kids” need baths vs showers. point is attention to the little details that add up to wasted energy.
