The Goldman family is sitting shiva after the passing of their father, R’ Shimon Goldman at 1582 Carroll Street, getting up Monday morning.

BDE Rabbi Shimon Goldman obm was honest in his weights and measures. He was our trusted butcher in his little shop on C.I.Ave. in Flatbush, with wood shavings on the floor. I told him how my mother-in-lawobm, told me that she and other women in her shetel used to pick up wood shavings in butcher shops, put them in their aprons, and that’s why my husband obm had curly hair!
