On Thursday evening of Chol Hamoed Sukkos, the Aliya Girls Loft was booming with excitement.
Disco lights flashed as the joyous music bounced off the walls, and happy feet hit the floor. The Loft organized a community Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration for girls. It all went down at their center, at 537 Empire Blvd.
Sushi and refreshments were served. There was an attendance of 80 girls of all different ages dancing together as one.
The music and dancing continued until one in the morning. The girls from across the community joined together in joyous song and dance for Simchas Beis Hashoeva, united by their desire to celebrate the utmost joy of this powerful time.
Shoutout to Meir and Chaviva for giving girls a chance to live a better life. What you do cannot be matched. The GIrls Loft is a safe space for people to just be who they are, without fearing or resisting expectation–which is what allows them to grow at their own pace and by their conviction. This is true shlichus.
