A full-page advertisement published Tuesday in the New York Post is drawing attention across the Jewish community after it appeared as a response to antisemitic conspiracy theories promoted this week by media personality Tucker Carlson.
The advertisement, placed by Five Towns, NY Lubavitch couple Pini and Sary Althaus, highlights Chabad’s decades of humanitarian and spiritual work around the world and calls on those who have benefited from Chabad to publicly share their experiences.
“For more than 250 years, the global network of Chabad-Lubavitch has served millions of people around the world,” the ad states.
It continues by describing the wide reach of Chabad’s activities:
“On college campuses and in small towns. In moments of crisis and in everyday life.”
The message emphasizes the core mission that has guided the movement’s worldwide network of shluchim and volunteers.
“Chabad’s mission has always been simple: to care for another human being, and to bring more light into the world.”
The ad also highlights the personal connections many people have experienced through Chabad’s work, referencing the organization’s role in helping travelers, hosting Shabbat meals, and providing spiritual support.
“Many of us have been touched by Chabad through a helping hand in a difficult moment, a warm Shabbat meal, a place to pray, learn, or simply feel at home.”
The campaign invites readers who have been positively impacted by Chabad to speak up publicly.
“If Chabad has had a positive impact on your life, let your voice be heard. Share your story. Share your gratitude. Share your support.”
Readers are encouraged to post their experiences online using the hashtag #WeAreChabad.
The ad concludes with a well-known teaching from the Rebbe, whose vision of Jewish outreach inspired thousands of Shluchim across the globe.
“A little bit of light dispels a lot of darkness.”
The ad comes amid renewed discussion online following comments by Carlson that repeated longstanding conspiratorial claims about Chabad. The message in the New York Post offers a different response — focusing not on the controversy itself, but on highlighting the positive impact Chabad has had on millions of people worldwide.

Why give energy to his garbage? He is a nothing.
Responding to him means he is a something.
He is not a something.
He is nothing.
I agree. Why give these people a bigger platform? When I first watched his idiotic video, I laughed, shut it off, and forgot about it. We all know chabads not going anywhere, so why pay attention?
…. At this point, a response IS imperative.
Yes, he is a nothing.. but he still has 30 million followers, so his word has too many listeners and he sounds very convincing. So hiding and ignoring him isn’t going to help anything.
Were they nothing?
They were equally crazy people who had a following of millions, who destroyed millions.
Staying quiet doesnt always mean ignoring. It means being scared and agreeing.
Chabad has never been quiet, and we will not start now.
Chabad doesn’t need to defend itself in the press.
Our strength is in action. We continue to bring light and goodness to the world, and our deeds speak louder than any article ever could.
We aren’t engaging in his nonsense & or behaviors. We aren’t delving in his words or respinding to the issue at hand.
As the ad itself says (in other words) we are taking the moral high ground, using the opportunities & moments to shine forth with additional light. As with all antisemits, with all the Hamans past & present. May it be known, in the teachings of our Holy Rebbe, your rhetoric your foolishness will only add more light more holiness more goodness & kindness, preparing the world for Moshiach Tzidkeinu. Amen
Can Chabad sue Tucker?
That is an interesting question, but I would say probably not, because there is no one entity that could sue and claim that it is the one he was defaming. There are many independent Chabad organizations, so in each case he could say “I didn’t mean you”. For instance if Aguch were to sue he could say “I meant Chabad in Israel”, or “I meant the gaboyim”, etc. One thing is for sure, no individual can sue, because in US law there is no such thing as group libel. That’s why when someone makes a false accusation against all Jews,… Read more »
Looks like a great idea to me. Thank you! Stay positive and empower positivity!!
Thank u sary for all u do for the chabad Community in many diffrent ways
Yasher loach for doing this. A perfect opportunity to also spread awareness of Sheva mitzvos,, shmurah matzah and all the Rebbe’s mivtzoim.
Sometimes things do have to be said
but it is always better to focus on the positive than to give credence to negative.
Well done this is an excellent campaign and PG many will follow and support and will turn this into a really positive and productive opportunity to encourage others to follow suit and connect with Chabad someway or other!
Our focus should be on doing good deeds and learning Torah. Everything else is nonsense. He’s not someone that we need to turn to for help. Invite guests for Shabbos and yom tov that need a place to eat.
Your kindness towards a fellow Jew will do more than answering such people. Invite a needy person for Pesach. Not just your close friends and family.
It is Conservatives and the Right that are by far more anti-semitic. Be afraid of the hand that is offered. They want us all expelled from the country and sent to Israel.
…up till a few years ago maybe you could justify such an argument. But now, after the Squad and their open anti-Semitism, after the riots in 2020 in which Jewish businesses were targeted, after Oct. 7 when mobs of college students and other Democrats groups – and elected officials – vilified Israel and called for its destruction, after the beginning of the current war when Democrats in Congress won’t even vote in favor of a resolution that Iran is a sponsor of terrorism – – while meanwhile the Republicans, from the president on down, have mostly been quite the opposite,… Read more »
…there might have been a time when that’s a reasonable possibility. But after the Democrat Squad and their explicit anti-Semitism, after the riots of 2020 that targeted Jewish businesses, after Oct. 7 when college campuses (largely Democrat) exploded with calls for death to Israel and to Jews, after most recently the Democrats couldn’t even vote for a resolution naming Iran as a sponsor of terrorism –
and all that while the Republicans, from Trump down, have mostly been supportive of Israel and of Jews –
then your claim is somewhere between delusional and evil.
Is doing its best to incited Jew hatred. Just as on Purim, this Haman will fail. But beware even those so called philo-semites on the right who like a pig stick out their hooves and say they are our friends while plotting against us.
It’s below you as a yid.
Chabad’s mission is to bring Moshiach and the 3rd Beis HaMikdash. As the Rebbe said the world is ready for this.
Not in the way he said it at all. It’s our mission through Torah, mitzvos and spreading Chassidus.
*Not* through the Israeli government’s wars. Or anything as such.
wait until they hear that they also have the most powerful army!
