In Episode 49 of Lamplighters: Stories From Chabad Emissaries On The Jewish Frontier, reporter/producer Gary Waleik presents the story of Rabbi Moshe Bleich, shliach at Wellesley Weston Chabad in suburban Boston. Bleich’s story winds, quite circuitously, through Brooklyn, Stoliner and Lubavitcher yeshivas, California, upstate New York and Ukraine. But it was a bracha from the Lubavticher Rebbe, delivered four decades before he even knew about it, that led Bleich to Chabad shlichus.
Lamplighters: Stories From Chabad Emissaries On The Jewish Frontier is producing a series of moving, beautifully produced, sound-rich and often surprising stories of Chabad shluchim and the people they inspire in every corner of the world.

I knew he was nephew of R shmuel Lew my father’s friend and hearing this podcast brought my memories full circle. I also have memories of Wellsly as a kid I would go cross country skying there and many more memories.
