Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
Every one of us has a superpower, which is found in our Jewish names. Each letter in a name contributes to a person’s energy and strength that Hashem gave us. In Parshas Lech Lecha, Avraham Avinu and Sarah Imaeinu receive an upgrade to their names with the addition of the letter Hay. This change transforms their individual powers, enabling them to become the Forefathers and Matriarchs of the Jewish Nation. Every Jewish name is unique and inspires each person to fulfill a specific mission. Whether your name is Mushky, Zalmen, Tova, Simcha, or something else, embrace the special power of your name to make the world a better place.
It is always fun to whisk up a confection in the kitchen! Today, we will be making Alef-Bais Stained Glass Cookies. When choosing a letter to bake, think about how fun it would be to use the Alef-Bais letter that corresponds to your name. For example, Mendy would use a Mem, and Bracha would use a Bais. The secret to creating the stained glass effect lies in crushing candy or lollipops, which will melt into a beautiful translucent finish! Have fun, and don’t forget to share a cookie with someone special.
The time has come for us to say goodbye to Parsha Studio. Starting next week, we will be updating to a new series called History’s Heroes. We can’t wait to see you!
