Last summer, the Bridal Giving Boutique launched in Crown Heights with a simple goal: To ensure all brides can start their life as a newlywed feeling confident and beautiful.
Since their launch, over 75 kallahs visited the Bridal Giving Boutique to choose brand new Sheva Brachos and Shabbos outfits, jewelry, makeup, handbags, shoes, and more. For many, it is the only new clothing they received before their wedding.
“We are humbled to be able to fulfill the special mitzvah of bringing joy to kallahs,” said Dassie Hecht, the boutique’s founder.
In a dignified and respectful manner, kallahs enjoy choosing and trying on new clothing in the trendy and fresh setting of the boutique, just like in a regular shop. Except there’s no price tag, everything they take home is a wedding gift! The magnificent renovations were generously sponsored by Yossi and Batsheva Popack.
Modest fashion companies who are sensitive to our community’s needs, generously donated beautiful outfits to fill the racks.
“As women, we know how important it is to feel and look good. With all the expenses that go along with planning a wedding, often, brides don’t have the funds to buy new clothing. Think about the kallah who will be celebrating a very special time in her life and cannot afford to buy new dresses. This is what inspired me to zealously open the Bridal Giving Boutique. Every kallah deserves to feel confident, happy, and beautiful,” said Dassie Hecht.
“This initiative wouldn’t be possible without the kindness of frum fashion companies and our generous donors. We want to thank all our participating sponsors for making this dream a reality.
