Chidon Anthem Song Released in Acapella

Each year, the Chidon Anthem has been the energy of Chidon competition.

Written by Mrs. Chami Engel, it truly defines the power and excitement of the Chidon, a program that has induced thousands of children to give up their spare time to learn the 613 mitzvos.

Sung by Eli Marcus, the song is upbeat, and when the Chidon Anthem starts to play you feel the energy in the room.

This year’s Chidon Trip Director Chaim Zippel was faced with a huge challenge. How can we make trips exciting during sefira without music and without the chidon theme song?

But nothing would stop him. He had a brilliant idea to get in touch with Music Studio NYC where Rabbi Moishy Goldstein made the Chidon Anthem into a smashing new acapella song, sung by 4 chidon contestants.

“The Rebbe must be shepping tremendous nachas from the Chidon,” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, vice chairman of Merkos l’inyonei Chinuch. These children have a tremendous koch in limmud horambam, which means so much to the Rebbe.”

“We are so proud of the huge accomplishment of the children,” says Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, executive Director of Tzivos Hashem. “These children have worked so hard and truly deserve their special reward.”

The children worldwide are looking forward to their trips as a conclusion and reward to this year’s Chidon competitiom. Trips will be taking place in many cities around the world, including a grand trip for New York Tri-State area children to the American Dream Mall in New Jersey.

The chidon is dedicated in loving memory to Mrs. Sara Rohor by Mr. Gorge Rhor.
