HaMesivta recently hosted guest speaker, Rabbi Aron Raskin.
Rabbi Raskin is a Shliach in Brooklyn Heights and was one of the founders of Hamesivta when the Yeshiva first opened its doors 18 years ago.
Last week, Rabbi Aron Raskin came to speak to the Bachurim of HaMesivta. While he came to inspire the students, it was he who left inspired by the Yeshiva’s tremendous growth and success.
When he came to speak to the Bochurim 18 years ago, the entire school was gathered around a living room table.
In the years since, HaMesivta has been met with incredible success and experienced tremendous growth to their student body.
Baruch Hashem, this year’s speech was given to a room full of HaMesivta Students, in their brand new location.
Rabbi Raskin shared stories of his grandfather and the Rebbe on Lag Baomer, and he spoke about the importance of Mivtzoyim and Davening.
Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Rabbi Raskin distributed one of the books that he authored to each one of the students.
Still miss the roundtable (it’s a diff atmosphere than listening to someone with frontal lecturing)
When students call their Rebbies on their own free time at their own free will, during Covid, for a dvar torah to share at the Shabbos table, this proves the Rebbies are doing a great job!
