Help Restore Chabad of Bronxville, which was destroyed in the fury of hurricane Ida this week.
Chabad of Bronxville, directed by Rabbi Sruli and Mushka Deitsch, has an open-door policy. Jews from all walks of life feel welcome, comfortable, and as members of the family.
This week, as Mushka and Sruli were finalizing their High Holiday preparations for services, meals and Holiday packages, hurricane Ida completely decimated their neighborhood and the Chabad House with it.
Everything was under 6 feet of water. The Sefer Torahs were damaged, bookshelves collapsed, office supplies including computers gone, and freezers stocked with food for the High Holidays destroyed. This is all with mere days to regroup in time for the High Holidays!
