To my dear friends, men women and children of Klal Yisroel.
These last few days have been trying times for all of us.
If you’ll allow me, I’d love to tell you a bit about what is going on in our home town of Naharia.
We are located in the north, and our shlichus here, whether it was helping locals, tourists or soldiers, has always been our pride and joy.
With the increasing threat coming out of the north, thousands upon thousands of soldiers and reserves have been mobilizing over the last few days.
A mobilization of this magnitude has never been seen before in our history, and sadly we are faced with an unprecedented reality.
Our soldiers are not only understaffed,
they are underfed, under equipped and under cared for.
We have mobilized our team of volunteers and have been providing round the clock food, shelter and supplies to hundreds and hundreds of soldiers, not to mention hygienic supplies and critical provisions to help them be as successful as they need to be.
Shabbat on the ground was a surreal experience with many trying their best to be joyful and positive, while their brothers and sisters risk their lives to protect them.
We packed and delivered meals to hundreds of soldiers, and danced with them in this trying time.
The spirits are high, but the need for supplies and support is great, and we are forced to turn to you, our brothers and sisters, to help us during this critical time.
Our soldiers are the best of the best, and we see it on their faces and hear it in their voices.
They will be Hashem’s shluchim to lead us to a great victory, we are sure of it!
In the meantime, the atmosphere on the ground is very tense, and the need for supplies and support is massive.
Please help us continue to be there for the incredibly brave soldiers, who are coming in faster than we can count!

May we be zocheh to share very good and positive news very soon!
Thank you so much for your support,
Sincerely,
Rabbi Boruch Wilhelm
