Chabad Lubavitch of Central New York is having it’s Jewish Heritage Exhibit and Chabad display at the Great New York State Fair held at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY.
This is the 28th consecutive year that Chabad has been displaying at the 12-day fair which showcases agriculture, entertainment, education and technology.
Rabbi Yaakov Rapoport is there offering Tefillin, Shabbos candles, Mezuzas and reminding Jews of the upcoming High Holidays and the Jewish new year.
“A large part of our program is promoting the Sheva Mitzvos B’nai Noach – the 7 Noahide laws and the right of the Jewish people to all of Eretz Yisroel,” he said.
Though off to a slow start on Thursday, there were over 10 Jewish men who agreed to put on Tefillim.
The fair will be going on until Labor Day, and Rabbi Rapoport said he can still use the help of 1 or 2 bochurim from now until the end of the Fair. Contact him at [email protected]
Hatzlacha Rabbi Rapoport! Wishing you all the kochos and l’shana tova!
