From 8th Day’s new album “Slow Down” comes their latest single and music video for the hit song “Moses In Me”.
So what/who inspired them to record this song? Why the video?
According to Shmuel Marcus of 8th Day:
“When we realized that our music videos thank G-d were consistently attracting millions of views and people from all walks of life were eventually talking about messages in our music, we felt it was a good time to do a ‘hit’ song based on a foundational Chassidic concept that’s taught in Tanya. Which is – that each of us have this incredible gift, a small part of Moshe Rabeinu’s neshama (Moses Our Teacher’s spiritual life force) naturally within us.
And now we are on a campaign to spread the word to each and every child and adult across the globe!”
“Moses In Me” was composed, arranged and written by 8th Day, Shmuel and Bentzi Marcus. Mix and production by Bruce Witkin.
The video was produced and directed by Bentzi Marcus.
Director of photography Mendel Katz.
Edited by Moshe Bree.
