“Middoh Nechonoh” is a composition inspired by a conversation with Rabbi Pinchas Friedman – whose weekly Shvilei Pinchas has been gracing Shabbos tables for countless years. The song represents a fervent prayer that the coming year be one of salvation and comfort for the Jewish people and is based on a text from the well-known Piyut in Selichos for Erev Rosh Hashana, addressing the Thirteen Attributes of G-d.
“The song, stunningly interpreted and sung by Avraham Fried and arranged by the incomparable Moshe Laufer, takes me back to that time of innocence, years ago, when we had all just met and began our musical journey together,” the composer Yossi Green wrote.
