Chassidus in Color and Tzivos Hashem are proud to release an amazing opportunity to engage your students in preparing for this Lag Baomer: The Second Annual Chassidus in Color Art Contest- 12 Pesukim themed.
Participants are encouraged to :
#1:begin by properly learning one of the messages behind the 12 Pesukim. Children can learn together with a parent or sibling, or even team up with a friend and share the prize money. To make learning easier and more enjoyable, an incredible website has been created especially for this contest: twelvepesukim.org. The site offers simple explanations and helpful ideas that can inspire artwork and help children connect to the meaning of their chosen possuk.
In addition, participants are encouraged to learn from Sefer “The Rebbe Redt Tzu Kinder” (“The Rebbe Speaks to Children”), which helps explain the depth and message behind each possuk in a way children can understand.
#2 Once the possuk is learned and understood, it’s time for the fun part, creating the masterpiece. The contest welcomes all types of artistic mediums, whether it’s paint, crayons, markers, clay, or even Kinetic sand. Every child has the freedom to express the possuk’s message in their own creative style.
The deadline for submitting artwork is Sunday, the 9th of Iyar. For those who need extra time, extensions are available until the 12th of Iyar by emailing [email protected]. All artwork should be submitted through the participant’s Parents’ Tzivos Hashem Account. Submission link: Tzivos Hashem Chassidus in Color Art Contest: Education Edition
This year’s contest is divided into two age groups. The younger division is for children ages 7–10, and the older division is for ages 11–14. Each division will have five winners, giving many participants a chance to earn a top prize.
And the prizes are truly exciting. Winners can receive incredible rewards such as drones, art sets, and gift cards. Even better, every child who participates will receive an automatic prize, making this contest a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Judging will be done by an impressive panel of well-known artists and professionals, including Yitzchok Moully, Moshe Katz, Miriam Rappaport, and Chaya Werner.
All submitted artwork will be displayed at the JCM Gallery, and the contest will conclude with a special Award Ceremony on the 16th of Iyar.
With meaningful learning, exciting prizes, and a chance to have artwork showcased in a gallery, the Second Chassidus in Color Art Contest is an opportunity children won’t want to miss.
