Hundreds came to join in the Yud Beis Tammuz Farbrengen that was held in the luxurious ballroom of The Shul of Bal Harbour in Surfside, Florida.
Distinguished Rabbis, Shluchim, Anash and women were welcomed by Rabbi Zalman Lipskar for the impressive event that was organized by Rabbi Shmuel Reinetz of Kerem Chabad.
The event formally began with Rabbi Zalman Lipskar inspiring the audience about the Frierdiker Rebbe and the lessons learned from the Chag Hageulah.
The Yud Beis Tammuz Niggun and the Beinoni were sung by all attendees, led by the talented Chazonim, Rabbis Koppel Cohen and Yossi Lebovics.
A special guest, Rabbi Berel Zisman, a survivor and vibrant Chossid of the Frierdiker Rebbe, shared his personal encounter with the Rebbe Rayatz both before and after the war
A synopsis of the Yud Beis Tammuz discourse ,עשרה שיושבין, was brilliantly delivered by Rabbi Shea Rubinstein, who focused on giving Anash the feelings of true unity and the importance of Torah study.
Rabbi Yossi Denburg, Shliach of Coral Springs and Dean of the Hebrew Academy of Margate, who spoke eloquently and emotionally about the theme of Hiskashrus including powerful stories and an unforgettable message of his secret Shlichus in the former Soviet Union.
Rabbi Shmuel Reinetz concluded with the many lessons imparted from this special day and announced the upcoming project of Kerem Chabad which was to arrange the learning of הלכות בית הבחירה throughout South Florida.
The feelings amongst the crowd and the special memories which were shared were truly memorable.
As the formal part of the evening came to an end, after many L’Chaims and plentiful food, many sat down to an informal Chasidic Farbrengen with Rabbi Y. Denburg, Rabbi B. Zisman and fellow Shluchim sharing personal memories and words of inspiration.
