Rabbi Dr. Aaron Rakeffet-Rothkoff, Professor of Rabbinic Literature at Yeshiva University’s Caroline and Joseph S. Gruss Institute in Jerusalem, visited Lubavitch Headquarters on Monday.
The noted scholar, author and teacher who has taught thousands of students throughout his over 55 year career was given a tour of 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights.
Rakeffet-Rothkoff, who has lectured extensively about the Rebbe and Chabad, began with a visit to the Rebbe’s room and stopped by the WLCC broadcasting room accompanied by Rabbi Chaim Boruch Halberstam. He also met with the Rebbe’s secretary Rabbi Leibel Groner, and showed him his latest sefer, Rakafot Aharon Vol 4.
Of special interest to him was the tour of Agudas Chassidei Chabad Library, adjacent to 770, where he was showed around by its director and chief librarian Rabbi Berel Levine.
Rabbi Levine gave him his Sefer Tikunei Mikvaos, and Rabbi Rakeffet-Rothkoff in return presented his Sefer to the library.
So nice to see Rav rakefett seeing 770 Kol hakavod!
I have been learning from HaRav Rakeffet for around a decade from his shiurim online – he has thousands of shiurim and each one is better than the next.
Be careful; you might just get addicted to his classes 😊

You can listen to his shiurim on YU Torah
I have also been listening for many years. He’s a top class Talmud Chacham, and a mentsch in every sense of the word.
Halevai me with my shtreimel should be such a Tzadik and Talmid Chochom as Rabbi Rakeffet with his baseball cap. יאריך ימים על ממלכתו.
I took Rav Rakefet,s class in Shailot and Tshuvot in Michlala Yerushalayim 5732!
