On Monday Rosh Chodesh Elul, Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Pomona joyfully opened its doors, beginning the zman exactly on time, as is fitting for Tomchei Tmimim.
Now entering its fourth year of operation, the Yeshiva continues to grow and flourish. The bochurim, together with their parents, were greeted warmly in the Yeshiva’s beautiful facility. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as talmidim, parents, and hanhalah members gathered to begin a year of growth in Torah and Chassidus.
Yeshivas TTL Pomona takes pride not only in its beautiful surroundings, but also in its unwavering commitment to the highest standards of chinuch, limud haTorah, and instilling in its students strong chassidishe values and deep dedication to the Rebbe.
“The most impressive sight,” remarked a member of the hanhala, “is to see the bochurim’s excitement and enthusiasm, empowered to get back into their learning, and their pride as they advance into higher level shiurim.”
Distinguished Additions to the Hanhala
This year, the Yeshiva is proud to welcome:
Rabbi Naftali Stein, serving as S’gan Menahel and Mashgiach.
Rabbi Zusha Vigler, joining as Magid Shiur.
Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm, who joins as a senior Magid Shiur. Rabbi Wilhelm served as Rosh Yeshiva for 14 years in Mesivta of Minnesota, and is the dean and founder of the renowned Online Smicha program. He will be delivering a high-level Iyun Shiur.
Esteemed Chassidishe Role Models: The Yeshiva is also privileged to have Rabbi Yosef Bukiet, an eltere Chossid who serves as Mashpia Kloli and Maishiv, with 46 years of experience in Mesivta Ohr Elchonon in Los Angeles. With his deep connection to the Rebbe and his geshmake chassidishe presence, he serves as a living role model for bochurim.
Looking Ahead – With its dedicated staff, esteemed rabbonim, and eager talmidim, Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Pomona looks forward to a year filled with serious limud haTorah, in-depth iyun, chassidishe farbrengens, and true chayus in avodas Hashem – giving the Rebbe much nachas and establishing the Yeshiva’s place as a true makom Torah vChassidus.
