United Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Ocean Parkway marked Monday the 34th Yahrtzeit of their late assistant principal and long time community activist, Reb Shmuel Schrage OBM.
The date was commemorated with a “Middos Tovos gathering” where students discussed how to improve their middos without boundaries, how to lift their environment, as well as help their siblings who may attend other yeshivos or schools.
The Yeshiva Midos Tovos passport campaign, named in his memory and honor, has been recharged and altered to create even better results.
All students vividly remember Mrs. Rose Schrage, R’ Shmuel’s wife, coming to yeshiva 2 years ago and inspiring them.
Some of the talmidim at the Middos Tovos gathering retold stories Mrs. Shrage had recounted to the students who unfortunately missed the event.
The new program will be followed by assemblies recognizing those with good middos.
The program was made and run by Rabbi Harari and Rabbi Baras, if you would like to be a part contact Rabbi Harari at x112.
