Yaakov Ezra Wasser, a longtime resident of Crown Heights, passed away on Tuesday, Cheshvan 14, 5779.
He was 63 and passed away after battling an illness for many years.
Yaakov was originally from Buffalo, NY, and was planning to make Aliya to Israel 25 years ago, but the Rebbe instructed him to settle in Crown Heights first, and he remained there for the rest of his life.
Yaakov worked in the real estate business for many years in the Crown Heights neighborhood, and was loved by all who knew him.
He was a regular Davener at Frankel Shul, and was a frequent visitor at Aliya Shul as well.
He is survived by his children Adam Wasser of Crown Heights and Monika Wasser of Spokane, WA.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, leaving Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 10 am and passing by 770 at 11 am.
