My phone is overflowing with messages from individuals grappling with the overwhelming challenge of staying calm and balanced amid today’s chaotic times. I wish I could offer a magic solution, but the reality is that our lives have become fraught with fear and discomfort, keeping us on high alert with tension and elevated cortisol levels.
Reflecting deeply on how we can collectively weather this storm, I turned to Rabbi Shais Taub, someone I deeply admire and trust, for his profound insights and parenting advice. Seeking his thoughts on maintaining sanity and focus, Rabbi Taub emphasized the need to help the soul find comfort in the physical world—not out of a love for material possessions but rather guided by the concept of Dirah B’tachtonim. Delving further, he expressed concern about the multitude of individuals in this generation who feel unsettled in their bodies, often experiencing the neshamas embodiment as a significant trauma. Essentially, he highlighted that the soul can be too sensitive for the challenges presented by our world today—a sentiment I personally resonate with deeply. That is why I am honored to have Rabbi Shais Taub as a speaker for Moodtopia Academy, the online school I founded last year. To make this invaluable workshop accessible to all, I’ve chosen to offer it for FREE, recognizing the collective need for strength and empowerment to face the tests we currently endure.
Over the past two months, I’ve witnessed the transformative impact of herbs in aiding my clients as they navigate these difficult times. These herbal remedies have been a source of solace, helping individuals rise in the morning and maintain a sense of calm despite the constant bombardment of distressing news. Acknowledging that the true challenge extends beyond staying balanced today, I am keenly aware of the potential long-term consequences of trauma—ranging from high blood pressure to ulcers and migraines—all of which I fervently wish for us to avoid.
In this FREE workshop, I will delve into tips on preventative medicine and practical ideas to bolster our physical strength. The aim is not only to navigate the challenges of the present but also to mitigate the aftermath of trauma. I believe that by cultivating physical resilience, we can engage in random acts of kindness, contribute to charitable causes, and maintain patience and balance in our professional and personal lives, particularly within our families.
Rabbi Shais Taub will complement this by offering poignant tips to guide our souls through the difficult journey we are all collectively experiencing. Together, we aspire to provide a space for healing and empowerment during these tumultuous times.
